Hey, It's Okay Tuesday!

I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It's Okay Post.

-------------------------

To sometimes get nervous if I see a cable van sitting on the side of the street. I’ve watched Homeland so I start to wonder, “Is that legit, or is it the CIA?”

To not care that Beyonce lip synced the national anthem at the inaguration. There were seriously people who wouldn’t stop talking about it. Ridiculous.

To really like the song Lost and Found by Katie Herzig. And normally I don’t like songs from this decade so that’s saying something.

To want to see Movie43. It just came out last Friday and looks hilarious. However, upon reading the reviews it seems all the good parts were in the previews. Boo.

To have already bought Valentine’s Day chocolates…to eat now. With Tom being gone, I felt like I deserved a box.

To have watched The Taste last week. Anthony Bourdain is such an ass. It’s why I could never watch No Reservations. He just comes across as a pompous douchbag.

To have two giveaways going at the moment. One for a $10 gift card to HSN.com here and another for a book called I’m Still Sexy So What’s Up With Him plus two movie tickets here.

  1. That's pretty funny about the cable van! After watching a lot of crime shows I get that way, plus I get way paranoid about being kidnapped.

  2. I agree on the Beyonce thing. Seriously, who cares? At least it was her singing. For that matter, why did everyone not make a big deal that the military band backing her up was recorded too? I heard someone say that it's a big deal because you expect a certain amount of 'authenticity' for a presidential inauguration. Um, sure.

  3. I like the way you think.
Are we so hard up for real news that we care about beyonce

  4. Some new people moved in across the street from us. For the first week they were there, every time I walked out of my house there was a pickup truck park at the curb. As soon as I walked out, it drove away. Talk about paranoid! I still have no idea what that was all about!

  5. Who cares about lip-synching! This is not 1988 anymore, and we are not talking about Milli Vanilli.

  6. I have always wondered why anyone wouldn't lip sync. It's hard enough sometimes just sing standing still let alone trying to dance a long to elaborate choreography!

  7. You do deserve a box of chocolate! Eat on!

  8. I agree about Beyonce. It would have been worse if she'd gone live and flubbed!

  9. I dont care that she lip synced either. Its better than it sounding terrible, in my opinion.

  10. Oh I do the same thing with weird vans around-- or think they are some serial killer. CIA would be better. I somehow passed up Valentine's candy without getting any. I finally made it back to working out yesterday so trying to be good.

  11. I have a friend who labeled her WiFi "FBI surveillance van" :) And there is a doctor here that is offering a fee heart shaped box of chocolates for every vasectomy consult. I asked Tony to go... even though I'm already done.... because I wanted the chocolates.

    He said no. GO figure.

  12. So Beyonce really did lip sync? Office chatter was first I heard she did then I heard she didn't. lol. That is the exact reason I won't watch anything with Anthony Bourdain.

  13. You totally deserve a box (or three!) of chocolates!!! Be sure to snag 'em up AFTER VD Day to get them on clearance prices too!!!

HATE Anthony Bourdain too! Total douche.

We never go to the movies. It's outrageously priced, even on post, and I cannot stand the rudeness of other people. Talking, cell phones, chewing with their mouths open, KIDS!...not worth it. I'd rather buy or download them, and see them on my own TV!! Plus my popcorn is better! LOL!

    Have a great week!

  15. Cable trucks are pretty suspicious, you're right to be worried. Mind you, listening to the drivel that goes on in this house would get pretty boring, pretty quick. And everyone deserves early Valentine's chocolates.

  16. The whole Beyonce thing was, as my son would say, redonk! Who cares?
